Steve is a passionate not-for-profit professional who brings over 40 years of frontline experience to his clients. He has served as the CEO of health, social services, education, and religious nonprofit organizations in the United States, Canada, and Israel. Steve has also spent many years as a lead Resources Development Professional for the Jerusalem Foundation, an Israeli NPO.
Steve is a voracious reader (#DanielSilvafan) and enjoys dialogue and exchange in the various Torah study groups he joins. Uniquely intuitive, Steve helps colleagues and trainees identify what they’re struggling with on their own. Steve demonstrates a keen ability to nurture leaders, boards of directors, and senior managers.
Steve has brought millions of dollars to various organizations through annual campaigns and capital projects. He is most proud of the numerous mentees who he has coached to the top.
An ice-hockey fan and referee, Steve appreciates action, grit, and working hard to achieve your goals. Steve has 6 children and over 50 grandchildren who give him lots of nachas. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys a good hike, a relaxing ocean view, and some good ol’ corn-on-the-cob.
