He is best known for his role as the CEO who created and directed the Kanzius Foundation’s worldwide fundraising efforts, education/awareness known as “spreading the wave,” strategic planning and research oversight. Under Mark’s leadership the organization was transformed from a regional dream to a global brand – receiving acclaim by winning the national Pepsi “Refresh Everything” Project, the Ellen DeGeneres PinkWell Grant, the Million Dollar Challenge, and through face-to-face audiences with 60 Minutes’ Leslie Stahl, nationally syndicated television/radio host and political commentator Glenn Beck, and one-on-one meetings in 2012 with Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi just to name a few.
