Mark Neidig, Sr., CFRE
Born and raised in Plymouth, Indiana, Mark has extensive corporate and not-for-profit leadership experience in Pennsylvania, Indiana, California, Connecticut, New York, Washington DC Nigeria and The Gambia, West Africa. An articulate and passionate motivational speaker, Neidig effectively communicates to large audiences as well as intimate gatherings the message of hope for “a better way” of living.
He is best known for his role as the CEO who created and directed the Kanzius Foundation’s worldwide fundraising efforts, education/awareness known as “spreading the wave,” strategic planning and research oversight. Under Mark’s leadership the organization was transformed from a regional dream to a global brand – receiving acclaim by winning the national Pepsi “Refresh Everything” Project, the Ellen DeGeneres PinkWell Grant, the Million Dollar Challenge, and through face-to-face audiences with 60 Minutes’ Leslie Stahl, nationally syndicated television/radio host and political commentator Glenn Beck, and one-on-one meetings in 2012 with Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi just to name a few. Rarely can an organization boast of “Going Out-of-Business,” yet Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation announced they would close their doors in 2014, having successfully fulfilled their mission by funding all of the research necessary to present the Kanzius technology to the FDA for human trials.
Mark currently resides in downtown Orlando, Florida with his wife of 39 years, Debbie, where he consults organizations for optimal effectiveness in accomplishing their mission.
