Solly Hess is a dynamic communal professional with extensive experience in development and community engagement. Solly spent seven years at the Orthodox Union as the Los Angeles and Regional Director for West Coast NCSY, after which he served as the Major Gifts Director at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Solly returned to the Orthodox Union in 2018 as the Western States Director and Director of Institutional Advancement, managing the fundraising efforts for all programming, providing oversight for the development and implementation of strategic fundraising, while engaging partners and foundations in support of the OU.
Solly and his family made the move from Los Angeles to Florida in 2021, where he currently serves as the CDO for Southern NCSY. Solly is also a motivational speaker and professional development coach, guiding individuals and organizations to advance their fundraising skills, enhance internal and external communication, and explore new growth opportunities.
Solly received his MBA from Pepperdine University and lives in Boca Raton with his wife Sasha and their three children, Caleb, Nava, and Judith.
