Miriam is a strategist, entrepreneur, and creative ideas person at heart. Whether you are looking to craft a new engagement program, marketing plan, or need fresh eyes on an existing project she is the person you want in your corner!

With fifteen years of experience in non-profit capacity building, marketing, fundraising, and event planning, as well as over a decade of experience running a bespoke jewelry design company, Miriam brings value to executive teams by:

1) Advising and crafting best practices for annual campaigns.

2) Scaling awareness around innovative ideas through research, strategic planning, marketing campaigns, and developing immersive experiences.

3) Creating turnkey, customized, sustainable marketing and campaigns that ensure strategies devised are successful long term.

4) Breaking down silos and leading teams to success with what she likes to call diplomatic project management

Miriam's background is rich and varied with an undergraduate degree in science from Touro University (summa cum laude) and masters in linguistics from Adelphi University. She has over 12 years in the nonprofit sector, scaling and funding educational programs for the Manhattan Jewish experience, growing turnkey events for The Museum of Living Heritage, and directing large multi-day fundraising  bike rides across Israel for Hazon and the Arava Institute of Environmental Studies.

Miriam is also a consummate traveler having visited over 35 countries including Morocco where she won a fellowship with the JDC and helped design community engagement systems for the first Jewish center to open in Casablanca in 30 years! (All with highschool Hebrew, French, and lots of hand gestures.)

When not consulting with nonprofit organizations across the US, you can find Miriam hiking, upcycling furniture, designing jewelry (Jessie Katz can tell you more - Miriam made her engagement ring!), or exploring new corners of Cape Town where she has lived with her South African husband Leon and recent addition, Natan, since 2020.

A fridge magnet Miriam has always liked says: Life isn't about avoiding risk but about making calculated decisions and going all in with the things you love.
